PIE - Gathering Pace...

By Will Gardner

As I look around the office I can scarcely believe how far we've come...from those first days, eighteen months ago, we have outgrown offices three times, we have been named best Newcomer at the Onrec and MDRA (MARA) awards, built some fantastic client relationships and exceeded all my expectations.

What has most impressed me? We don't take ourselves too seriously. We have kept true to our goals and have concentrated in delighting clients and candidates. We're not perfect, we have made mistakes - many - but we are always prepared to evaluate, take feedback on board and question what we are doing. We will continue to do so.

As the MD I could sit hear and crow about how brilliant our systems are and the extent of our resources. I could also take the self indulgent view that it was all down to our initial vision.

But it simply isn't.

Our success to date has been down to one thing...our people! What a fantastic bunch we have and PIE would have fallen over long ago if it weren't for them.

And, as the business continues to gather pace, we will be looking for more great individuals to join us. If you think you could be one of them, drop me a line to find out more - will.gardner@pie-recruitment.com

It is this example - and many more like them - that drives PIE Recruitment on. We have had a fantastic start and surpassed all targets and I am confident that this is a bi product of the other areas we are focussing on. Bringing in leading systems, hiring committed individuals, adopting a mature & flexible working environment and providing the staff with first class resources has all helped. But it is the development of the culture and the external focus of doing the very best for all our customers that provides the foundation for the business.  It is on this basis that we will continue to grow.  Like I said, it’s not all about the exit.
