So it’s Monday again and it’s fair to say, it’s already been another one of those days where a vat of coffee and many sugary treats are required to help get me through the day. Is it due to lack of sleep? Definitely not. Or is it just one of those days…again!
Well, apparently not. By the looks of things, it could be down to the fact that I fall in to the 59% of people who don’t make their bed in the morning. (It’s not that I’m lazy, just generally outside of work, my life is an organised mess!)
But can such a small task really affect how you function for the rest of the day? I couldn’t quite believe that something as simple as sparing two minutes in the morning to make your bed would set you up for a productive and successful day.
Maybe it’s time to be less Tracey Emin…(not to the same extent) and get on the bed making scene!
Tidy room = tidy mind. Here I come!
Nowadays, it sometimes feels like you can go an entire day without making any progress. Maybe you didn’t hear back from your prospect, or you didn’t finish your emails, or you just had a bad day. You’re down in the dumps because you didn’t achieve what you wanted to. Everyone goes through these peaks and valleys. But if you’re not careful, that feeling will carry over into the next day … and the next day … and the next … until you decide to make a change. You have to do something to make that feeling go away. But what?
