As someone with tattoos I can't believe I didn't know this. My tattoos are not a reflection of my skills, abilities or the values I have. All my tattoos should simply tell people is that I like tattoos. That's it. I feel the person judging someone for having tattoos says more about the person making the judgement, than the person who has the tattoos.

The reality is that 1 in 3 young adults today have tattoos so if you're still going to discriminate because of them, you're most definitely going to lose out on top talent.

I am very lucky to work for a company that is more concerned with an individuals ability to perform their role than whether or not they have too many tattoos or piercings etc. for their liking, but unfortunately not all our company cultures are as forward thinking as this...
