A famously pricey day out, Coca Cola has launched the recycling initiative in partnership with Merlin Entertainment that will reward thrifty thrill seekers like myself with 50% off entry to some of the UK's favorite theme parks.
All you need to do is take just one empty plastic bottle to one of the brand's specially designed reverse vending machines installed at four top attractions around the country and you are laughing.
What an easy way to do your bit for the environment and also save yourself some dollar!
So, instead of moaning about how hot it is and praying for some rain, get yourself down to your local Merlin theme park and swap your plastic bottle for a fun day out. It's a no brainer!
Coca-Cola has teamed up with Merlin Entertainments to offer people 50% off entry to some of the UK’s most popular family attractions in exchange for used plastic drink bottles. Running from today (25 July) to 19 October, the scheme invites visitors to Alton Towers Resort, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland Windsor to recycle any 500ml plastic bottle via on-site reverse vending machines. The machines instantly reward recyclers with a voucher to receive half-price entry at 30 participating Merlin attractions.
