It's time to make a difference - Mental Health Awareness

Wednesday 10th October 2018 marked World Mental Health Day. This is a subject that's finally becoming something that we can openly talk about and address. For too long, too many people have suffered in silence - reaching out for help can really make such a difference.

But in my view, companies of all sizes can do more to help. The freedom to be honest with yourself and others is important at work, just as much as at home. 

Josh discusses ideas to increase awareness for the importance of personal well-being and mental health within the workplace. 

Charitable donations & events are great; but a sustained and consistent approach can make a year round difference to all of us and the world we work & live in...

Make a difference – launch your own Mental Health Allies scheme: Most recently, we’ve teamed up with men's support network The Book of Man and launched a campaign to share our experience and challenge other organisations – within and outside the media industry – to embark on the same journey. We believe that if we can encourage other businesses to create something similar, this kind of scheme could improve the support mechanisms around mental health.
