Arrival has certainly arrived - Fleet Live 2018

By Pie Recruitment

It doesn't surprise me that this year there was a record-breaking number of visitors at Fleet Live. With the brand new all electric Mini, new 3 series and Arrivals all-electric Royal Mail van exhibiting, it was definitely a good one to attend!

Visiting on day 2 of the Fleet Live event , I spent some of my time on the LeasePlan stand - impressive as always guys, as well as popping by to see Alphabet, Tevo and some of the electric charging point providers. But for me, there was a standout star of the show. Arrival.

If you haven’t heard of Arrival, they are an all-electric CV manufacturer who are based in Banbury. They are completing trials with the likes of DHL, Royal Mail and UPS and they're certainly leading the way on the journey to all-electric van fleets.

The complete look and feel of Arrival are different to everything on the market and having spent some time with them at Fleet Live, the science behind what they do is also ground breaking.

They're part of the same group as Roborace, who were responsible for the first autonomous race car that debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year.

It's safe to say that its worth keeping your eyes peeled for what’s to come from these guys. I’m already looking forward to the CV show 2019 to see what they bring next!

The UK’s leading event for the fleet management community – Fleet Live – welcomed over 1,000 visitors through its doors on the first day (October 9). Previously, the two-day event has had record-breaking attendance figures year-on-year, and Fleet Live 2018 looks set to raise the bar further.
