Elon Musk stood proudly when he unveiled the Cyber Truck last week, however, things obviously didn't go according to plan, as I'm sure you have all seen.
Now I don't know who to believe, industry experts are divided about whether it was a publicity stunt to send Twitter into overdrive or it genuinely was a flaw in the design and the Cyber Truck really isn't 'bulletproof'.
Musk's net worth dropped more than 3 quarters of a billion after the event however it did not deter the 150,000 initial deposits being made within the first 24 hours (and still rising)! The deposits are $100 and fully refundable and the pickup is due to deliver in 2021 for an estimated $30,000 base, not including any additional extras. If he converts just a third of these orders he is due to pocket $1.5 billion!
