A tattoo too far?

By Sarah Wixon

Don't get me wrong, I love our business. I love our brand. It's a great place to work and I've no desire to be anywhere else.

But would I go so far as to tattoo our logo on myself?

The answer has to be a resounding NO!!!!

I have nothing against tattoos, I have some myself. But what these guys have done seems even worse than getting the name of your boyfriend/girlfriend/partner permanently etched. Because THESE THINGS CAN CHANGE!!!

What if one or both of them get sacked? Would you want a permanent reminder?

Fair play guys, dedication to your business is a great thing. Here's hoping we don't see you on Tattoo Fixers in a couple of years, because that looks like a bitch to cover up!

Recruitment is often associated with the adage ‘work hard, play hard’, with companies telling of boozy trips to Vegas, competitive football matches and, of course, Friday evenings in the pub. However, one agency may have taken their after-work drinking challenge to the next level, with a dare escalating to two recruitment consultants getting a tattoo of their company logo. Andrew Martyn and Lewis Farnham, recruitment consultants at Kent-based firm, Red Eagle, took a trip to the tattoo parlour to literally mark their dedication to their brand. Farnham comments: “The day-to-day atmosphere in our construction division is brilliant. We have a great team spirit and regularly dream up of crazy challenges in the office - I’ll be reminded of this one every day.”
