Last week saw the PIE team (and our dogs 🐶) take to the Chiltern Hills for a 10 mile walk for our Q3 awayday.
But of course, there was more to it than just enjoying the scenery. The team were split into two and challenged to both do the same walk but in opposite directions - with a list of tasks to complete along the way. First team back to the pub gained an additional 2 points so there was some incentive to walk fast!
From competitive cowpat measuring to tree climbing, to pictures of historic monuments & the flora and fauna, this was a tightly fought competition - but there can only be one winner and the Wendover Wanderers were victorious (mostly for being the first back).
No expense was spared on the prizes 🙄😉
Thanks to Bel & The Dragon at the Red Lion, Wendover for a great lunch (and a few beers) afterwards! 🍽🍻
