I'm LOVIN' it!

By Pie Recruitment

Tom Watson.. what planet are you from?!

Forget the fact that Game Of Thrones is coming back to our screens this Spring or this whole Brexit debacle... My highlight without a doubt is the return of The McDonald's Monopoly. The thought of winning an extra crispy hash brown to go with my Double Sausage & Egg McMuffin Meal on a Sunday morning is already making me salivate.

I'd like to clarify that no one is forcing me to stuff every greasy morsel of goodness down my throat or to finish off every last french fry. I’m choosing to enjoy a cheat meal at the McDonald’s Drive Thru on the A41 with my Besties. It’s a social engagement.

For those a little more health conscious... You can still win a new TV by choosing a Shaker Side Salad or a Carrot Bag (for the record, I think this officially earns you the title of “ABSOLUTE HEATHEN”). There's some really great partnerships going on too with brands such as Missguided and Mini Cooper getting on board.

It's just a bit of fun really isn't it, with an added possibility of winning a McFlurry. What’s not to love?

Fresh from advocating a ban on cartoon cereal mascots, Labour deputy leader Tom Watson has called on McDonald’s to axe its recurring Monopoly campaign on the grounds that its menu is a ‘danger to public health’. Watson is spearheading efforts to force the fast food retailer to scrap an annual competition which offers entrants to win prizes including food, on the grounds that it encourages overeating.
