From reading the attached article, they clearly forgot to add 'superstar recruiter' to the list of stars running the London Marathon on Sunday!
My marathon training started in October last year and it's been an incredible experience. I have pushed my body and mind to places they had never been previously and I've been overwhelmed by the support given by everyone around me.
The training has been a great way of 'sharpening the mind' as Ant Middleton (star of SAS Who Dares Wins) said in his 'Mind Over Muscle' show I recently went to for inspiration ahead of the London Marathon. Ant also talks about the mind being the first to break before the body - so if the mind goes, the body follows shortly after. This is why during my training I have focused heavily on making sure that as well as pounding the streets and clocking up the miles, I've taken time to make sure I am mentally prepared too. Hopefully when I put it all together on Sunday I can smash it out the park!
My running partner and I have raised over £5,000 for Cancer Research, which I'm immensely proud of. A massive thank you to everyone for all your support over the last few months & keep your eyes peeled for me on Sunday - Number 51771.
