I have some very exciting news! After nearly ten years of owning and running Just Digital, I am delighted to announce we have become part of PIE Recruitment.
These are hugely exciting times as I look to grow an International SaaS and Technology recruitment division from a new London office.
To meet and facilitate the demands of the SaaS market and my clients, the opportunity to merge with a larger recruitment brand whose ambition and ethos matches my own is hugely exciting.
Just Digital has experienced great success as a niche recruitment brand over the last ten years, backed up by a demonstrable track record of supporting early-stage SaaS clients with strategically important leadership hires and team builds across Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing.
It’s given me a great deal of professional pride to witness so many companies we’ve supported in the early days going on to achieve incredible growth or a major exit. Despite this, I’ve also felt a sense of frustration that we weren’t always able to support clients with a broader range of services and resources in certain areas.
It became clear that to deliver the range of solutions and levels of service I expect, the next phase of growth would require building a team of consultants in an environment with the right resources and management capabilities. I want to be able to deliver solutions into the SaaS market which reflect the needs of each client and which can scale to support them, regardless of their size or growth plans. It's clear PIE can help me to achieve those goals.
Why PIE?
I have a huge amount of respect for how the PIE brand has grown and achieved success across multiple markets since it’s relatively recent inception. Will and the team have built PIE around strong, traditional recruitment values, combined with cutting edge technology and great marketing.
It wasn’t important for me to find a business that already had a presence in SaaS or Technology. My goal is to create the stand out brand for SaaS recruitment, so in many ways starting with a completely fresh approach in a new market was preferential. My priority was finding a business which could match my own ambition, which would see the opportunity for International growth within the SaaS market and which would be committed to supporting it with the right tools and resources.
When you look at the PIE business from the outside it looks impressive. Once I’d had the opportunity to spend time with the team, I was struck by how well the culture and focus on client delivery matched my own expectations. Equally, the business is underpinned by great technology and there is a constant drive to improve processes and take the business to the next level. Their wider plans are also hugely exciting with the impending rollout of a new website and launch of a new brand dedicated to Executive level appointments.
All of these factors make it a compelling proposition and it’s great to be joining at such an exciting time.
