“A ship is always safe at shore, but that’s not what it’s built for.”  Albert Einstein

I'm full of the new year - new you spirit but I haven't actually got around to setting any precise goals yet - same old story.

Anything I have done resembles much more of a "to do" list than anything else.  Really  I'm not sure that's what resolutions are for.

What I'd love to be able to reflect on at this time in 2018, is something bigger than laying off the booze a little bit here and there, or yoga mastery or even getting to grips with phonics with my preschooler (although the latter is going to be a real achievement!)

This article resonated with me more than anything else I've read, here's the key points

Killing your comfort zone.

  1. Find the things you find awkward.
  2. Say "yes"
  3. Put it in your diary before the self doubt kicks in.
  4. Have a little confidence in achieving things you're capable of.

Great little read here when you have 5 mins...
