Want that job? - Rap about it...

I love this so much that I had to share it!

We see a lot of effort being put into CV's and job applications these days, but I love those candidates that go the extra mile to stand out.

Like this guy for example, he has gone even further and I think it's awesome....

An extreme example perhaps of making yourself stand out but it does shout "look at me."

Regardless of how perfect, or imperfect your experience is for a role, I love to see CV's and applications that look different to the rest that land in my inbox.

It can even come down to the little things like unique language, specific skill highlighting (not just leadership or team working) or an easy to read format can make the difference to me.

If you don't have the perfect experience, at the very least you should show off your passion.

Make your CV sing!

You've heard of candidates bringing cupcakes to their job interview or even sending their resume in the form of a candy bar. But, copywriter Chase Zreet might be the first candidate ever to send in a rap music video for his job application. Chase knew that if he really wanted to work on the Sprite account at the New York-based ad agency, Wieden+Kennedy, he would need to make himself stand out. So, to prove that he was the best man for the job, he wrote and recorded a musical cover letter—in which he rapped about his enthusiasm for the lemon-lime soda. Take a look:
