Now I like a compliment as much as the next guy, especially if the next guy is slightly overweight and still living at home with his mum…like myself. BUT as the saying goes, should you really mix business with pleasure? With the amount of dating apps now on the market is there really any need to deliver your best one liners via a platform which is dedicated to professional networking?
Sure, a quick “how you doing handsome?” would be a welcome distraction from my admin but I barely have enough time in the day as it is, let alone trying to come up with clever yet flirty messages. What if you accidentally sent a client one of these messages? You’d probably say goodbye to any future business plans. Obviously, there is an outside chance the recipient of the message would be charmed by your engaging profile photo (mine has an attractive colour wash entitled ‘mushroom’) and witty repartee, but my guess is that’s pretty unlikely. Save it for Tinder folks.
